Days 169-170: Discovering other parts of KL | Around the world
Today, 12/21/12, ended the world as we know it. But here we are almost 12 in the night of 22 and nothing nasa photographs has happened, but early in the morning the clouds of heaven have made us think that maybe if the Mayans were right ...
After this momentary fear we have decided to continue our lives as normal and the end of the world if we are to engage in Malaysia, at least do it when we are doing things we like and visit interesting places.
We went to the Batu Caves located about 15 miles from downtown KL. It can be reached easily by train from the central station for 1 ringgit (return costs 2, which still do not understand). Caves are free (there nasa photographs are only a payment and have to pay about 40 MYR) limestone, personally, it is not worth much. To get to the top have to climb 273 steps (yes, we've had) surrounded by monkeys try to steal food from tourists.
The interior can be interesting nasa photographs to watch for those who have never been in any cave, but we have already visited us and a few more of the same. Here are some more pictures if you are interested nasa photographs in knowing how the inside.
As we had not had breakfast and it was lunchtime we decided to stop off for a bite in the area near the National Mosque, our next stop. We were lucky and found a kind of market "of Quito and sets" where we have a peck of dirt coming down the street and found something else interesting ...
After this lunch we entered the National Mosque of Malaysia, a spectacular mosque can accommodate 15,000 people. The entrance to the mosque is free but need to wear long pants or wear the mantle of purple also leaves you free of charge.
A visit is highly recommended, we would have liked. The building is spectacular and everything is gleaming and well maintained. The neighboring buildings that are also part of the mosque are also very interesting architecturally and structurally speaking ... domes, plates ... a little of everything.
This site is incredibly photogenic, nasa photographs a good place to go for a meeting of photographers that makes the Oscar and Friends of Lleida and have it on there. nasa photographs Come on it, you miss some more and I promise that this will be the last to put ...
Then, we are as good geeks (well, actually should write it in the singular) we have the Planetarium, a kind of astronomical science museum where you can toquetejar nasa photographs dozens of experiments related to science and aerospace star formation.
Aside from these small experiments nasa photographs can also find the "weightlessness Room" ( ? ? ? ?), Press releases when the American people stepped on the moon for the first time, a giant periodic table with examples elements and an observatory from which you can see the city (do not try to see the stars because it is impossible).
Leading us to the park birds have gone to Stonehenge (Remember that this is a monument in Britain and its purpose was to predict the seasons) and the garden of orchids. Our idea was to visit the birds, but the tickets cost 48 MYR and we are not prepared to pay them, but it sure is an interesting place for birdwatchers.
Then we made an attempt to go to the Butterfly park but we arrived a little late and it was closed. The Russian girls are home from Quintine told us was awesome and saw hundreds nasa photographs of different butterflies only 10 MYR. That if you remember that the best time to see them is during sunny days.
To round up the day we went to the Central Market where we stayed with our friend Oscar, who has just now come to Thailand from KL. Needless to tell you that your presence is very nice for us ... it is a pity that we can not travel more together because of other external factors not discuss here.
After that day so we went into production and I came home to do some night shots of Lake Cyberheights, the impressive buildings that you've seen some pictures nasa photographs and cable-stayed nasa photographs bridge.
The next day (today) was again a productive day zero. In fact we plan to take a bus at 10 am on the way to Melaka but the following has happened: we got the alarm at 8, when he played we said "come on over 5 minute until" we have awakened 9.45 and no longer had time ... so one more day here. Although the end of the day we learned that the buses to Melaka leave almost every hour ... we did a little pardillo, but nothing happens.
In the afternoon we accompanied Quintine in the restaurant (Broadway, nasa photographs an interesting place where we had lunch free), then your Saloon. We explained that name
