The date of the first manned space mission Danish seems to be moved one step closer after Copenhagen Suborbitals Sunday had a successful test of the rocket motor HEAT-1X. See also video clips from live coverage of the event. By Kasper Well S. Andersen February war in space 28, 2010 at. 14:20
Refshaleøen: Hundreds ing.dk readers braved the Danish February weather, and took the day off on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen to see what is in the engineering world can be described as 'pure porn' as 1.000 kg fuel on a half minutes had burned in rocket engine HEAT-1X.
And the crowd got what they came for, the date of the first manned space mission Danish seems to have moved a step closer after Copenhagen Suborbitals, with Peter Madsen and Kristian von Bengtzon the head, and several hundred ing.dk readers in the back , today over dinner had a successful static test of the rocket motor HEAT-1X.
A happy Peter Madsen war in space felt after the test, to launch this summer will become a reality: "It went as it should, but we need to analyze the data before we can say what the force was," he said immediately after the test.
The test was delayed about a half hour because LOX tank pressure grew more slowly than expected. That meant, however, that the several hundred spectators did not get what they came for, judging from the audience reaction that gave the crew at Copenhagen Suborbitals a standing ovation after the test.
There must first be analyzed data, including the rocket's specific impulse before it can be absolutely clear whether war in space the rocket engine provided as it should. Follow the blog 'Space on the other way', which certainly soon an update from the protagonists themselves.

I was cold, but worth the wait !!!! I did not expect that all of hundred "geeks" were allowed to go and look at the rocket war in space after launch. It was great. Furthermore, we were even allowed to wade into the workshop! It was a really great event! Hope that all the journalists war in space gives little publicity and thus some sponsor money so you can live out your (our) dreams !!!
Also I am amazed that the rocket was mounted vertically, 5-10 meters above the ground. In the "real" launch will heaviness as affect fuel more "symmetrical" and the rocket's longitudinal direction. But it lacks the still the added impact of fuel when the rocket is accelerated upward with well 3-4-5 g ???

Congratulations to all those who stood for it and all those who helped.
Me and brother, came at 10:45 am we were waiting quite a while, but it was worth it! supports the hot dog stand :) pity that I was stuck and so the workshop, but the toes were frozen blue :)
Thomas Scherrer 5 years ago good videos
Our video people hard at work all our own material, we have many hi-speed and normal war in space speed shots and also got together a good number war in space together from spectators after the test, which is very much to go through and cut together.
I should also like Peter said after the test, remember that in itself has helped to make all this possible with your help and financial support, this is only the start of something very big for all of us, we hope to see many of you again one day .. in one way or another, about all this at a later date.
Michael, This rocket motor called a hybrid engine, precisely because used both solid and liquid chemicals. There used paraffin (fixed) and oxygen (liquid, a liquid, very cold) as fuel in the engine.

Kristian von Bengtson right, of course: It was exactly as it should be with countdown team and all. We had a subsequent agreement in Roskilde that we had to postpone. But there was a great understanding of this.

Totally war in space agree. It was worth the wait, but it was cold. I'm excited sound measurements, because I had put the earplugs in, so I do not have any amazing expressive of the actual sound pressure. Took a video of it with sound, and there was certainly good fuck, but it is difficult to judge from a camera's audio recording. I look forward to more videos and the measurements on the motor. D
