Hi I have a problem. I wanted to run a program which by default runs in full screen mode to windowed mode in windows 7 I would add that it is not the graphics card drivers are the default system. In contrast, when I click on the program's EXE and go into the properties do not have the option so I could run it in windowed mode by default in full screen reboots. Is realizes that there is a program which allows or is a way for the system to run this program in window mode. For help in advance thanks. I do not know the program. But if the load on the grid DirectX is a council can not do anything. Unless another program that will force him to start in the window. I'll have some time this pogogluje. d4rqu Junior Member Posts: 5 Joined: February 12, 2011, 10:32 am
In addition to full virtualization, which in this case would be too much trouble, you can try to use an insulating applications running applications in a virtual environment: Sandboxie. Do you limit the size of the application window to your window - I do not know, but try not to hurt.

There is another way. A long time ago I needed a program that would me a minimized applications san antonio aerospace (game: Quake3 Arena) by pressing the appropriate key combination san antonio aerospace - the so-called Minimizer. And so on .. Although this application work but fullscreen san antonio aerospace OpenGL, but it seems to me (read: I'm sure) that if DirectX is also possible to choose in such a way to windows. And this is because each application in Windows running in a window and each button or item that window san antonio aerospace too, so really it is a "window". It kinda sounds weird, but what I'm talking about. And well after that under Windows is the so-called WinAPI that is a "feature set" (so to speak). With its help, you can force minimizing the application window, and will almost certainly change the size of fullscreen for something else. Just this interest and write in the forum programistyczym, and there certainly sooner or later someone spreading ready program code it executes. Oh .. is this still the little matter - how do you know which window in Windows to choose? And no it is impossible to determine, san antonio aerospace because san antonio aerospace each window in Windows has a its handle (handle) and it's using the windows are identified. To get a handle recommend this program: san antonio aerospace http://www.speedyshare.com/files/27170812/vSpy.zip After starting san antonio aerospace just move the mouse over any window in the system, and information on this dialog will be displayed. Although the issue is if the window is working on fullscreen'ie - then hard ... - but then you can still (try) to find out what is the "title" window, and then find (again WinAPI) windows with just such a title in the system and to the appeal. My code (unless Delphi san antonio aerospace 6.0) looks like this (excerpt): (...) uses Windows, Messages, SysUtils, Variants, Classes, Graphics, Controls, Forms, Dialogs, StdCtrls, ExtCtrls, ComCtrls, AppEvnts, Menus, ShellAPI Spin , Buttons; (...) Procedure san antonio aerospace Q3_Maxymize; // Q3 on Screen FULL begin Q3_handle: = FindWindow (nil, PChar (Game_window_string)); {Search window handle of the contents san antonio aerospace 'Quake 3'} if (Q3_handle <> 0) then begin if Form1.CheckBoxRes.Checked then Zmien_rozdzielczosc (Q3_Width, Q3_Height, Q3_Bits, Q3_Freq); {Change the resolution of your Windows desktop on Q3_res} ShowWindow (Q3_handle, san antonio aerospace SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED); // SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED or RESTORE ShowWindow (Q3_handle, SW_RESTORE); end; end; (...) Procedure Zmien_rozdzielczosc (r_Width, r_Height, r_Bits, r_Freq: integer); var Mode: TDeviceMode; Result: string; begin with Mode to begin dmSize: = SizeOf (Mode); dmBitsPerPel: = r_Bits; dmPelsWidth: = r_Width; dmPelsHeight: = r_Height; san antonio aerospace dmDisplayFrequency: = r_Freq; if Form1.CheckBoxRefresh.Checked then dmFields: = DM_PELSWIDTH or DM_PELSHEIGHT or DM_DISPLAYFREQUENCY else dmFields: = DM_PELSWIDTH or DM_PELSHEIGHT; end; Case Change
