Athlone Town are delighted to announce that Brian Shortall has committed to the club for the upcoming First Division season. The full back, who has previous League of Ireland experience with UCD, St. Pats and Shelbourne, signed for the Town midway through the 2014 season and made six appearance towards the end of the season at right back, but can also play in the heart of the defence. He brings the number of players signed to 8 as Eddie Wallace continues to build his squad for next season.
